My i.v. blew tonight, while I was sleeping ( or trying to sleep ) I woke up to my i.v.pump machines alarm going off and my arm soaked with antibiotics. So I needed a new i.v, however my veins are shot and my skin is uber tough. It took four different nurses and over two hours of trying, before they gave up on starting a new i.v site. I was stuck eleven times, now both my arms and hands are killing me. Oh yeah, and still NO i.v. The new Doctor, who is caring for me, took me off the pain medication that worked well enough that I could sleep. The reason why? I wasnt told. I am now on fluid restriction, because of some kidney function problems. Again, I am not being told much. I still have a ton of pain in my stomach, as well as my right leg and left foot. I am just inches from walking out, Im not getting enough sleep, or enough to et or drink. My pain isnt being controlled, SO WHY am I still here? Im not completely better, but Im well enough to go home. I think! Not to mention, I need to take care of a family matter ( problem ) with my cousin. The welcome has worn out! When I know more, Ill let you all know/
