My last letting agent has charged me for a check out fee its interesting because they say someone is sent to the property after the tenancy is over to do an inventory check. Except for the fact that the house was demolished technically before the tenancy was over. Either someone checked through the rubble or the agency might be telling a lie.... Then comes their classic line you signed our contract including this fee sooo that may be true. But I dont remember seeing anything written in there about demolishing the house before the contract is over.
