My latest flying experience with Air Asia is an awful one. Flight Z2 949 was supposed to depart at 11.20am, but we waited till 2.30pm and was told that the flight was postponed to 9pm due to computer / aviation system problem. So I went back to Serdang with Jinger. We reached KLIA2 again at 730pm, but saw no crew at the gate. I asked around, only then I was told that the flight was further delayed to 1.30am. Late is better than never. So postpone the flight if you have to. But, please keep the passengers informed. I was back at home with Jinger, so that she can rest properly. When Air Asia rescheduled the flight to 1.30am, it should have notified its passengers even by just sms. Then my girl could just rest at home rather than waiting at the cold boarding area without a proper place to rest! After numerous complaints, AirAsia finally provided a hotel room for me and my girl to rest. I thank you for that. However, I just want to stress here, travelling with an infant is not easy. I sincerely hope Air Asia can improve their service and more baby-friendly in the future. p/s: The flight took off at 3.20am eventually and we reached Manila at about 7.30am. Jinger has been sick since the first day we reached Manila.
