My latest poem: When you love someone more than the stars you forget about who they were, you forget about the old scars. When you love someone more than the moon, you tell them so You fill them up like a balloon Full of helium, or a kite flying high, or like the bright-eyed blue paint splattered up in the sky. When you really love someone you tell them so. You do not make them wander like a blind rat in the cellar below. When you DO love someone they see it in your eyes your smile, your presence When you do realize you love someone do not keep it bottled up like a soda pop ready to explode tell them you do- erupt, Like a volcano with joy I promise you will not regret. Because when a girl loves a boy you see it in her eyes you hear it from her heartbeat bombarded with butterflies. When you love someone more than YOU, That’s when it becomes real life And you begin to do whatever it is you do to make this person smile, ignite light up like roaring flames in darkness of the night When you love someone more than the stars, you remind them of how beautiful they are To you every second you can because when you really love someone it is easy, unique, unplanned this love is raging, un-suppressed, never ends. Go tell that person right now it could really mend a broken heart… somehow.
