My mom found a little gray kitten on her walk today, it would not leave her alone. She hated to leave it there so she brought it home. I would love to bring it home, but really do not want a house cat. (I am allergic to them). Does anyone have experience with keeping a pet kitten/cat outside? I am concerned about the winter. I am thinking we could get one of those dog igloo type houses with bedding for it to stay in outside in the winter? (Geez I cant WAIT to find out Jasons reaction to this...hes golfing right now and has no idea) Not gonna be a happy hubby..... ;) I would appreciate any suggestions for keeping a cat outside. Will it be like a dog and keep trying to get in the house? I have no idea how much cats eat, or the best type of food to get them...haha...also, would an outside cat need a litterbox?
