My mood is as dreary as the weather. The first thing I want to say is thank you to Jeff and America for stepping up and giving us a home for Connor’s race. I know there will be so much negatively that happens because of this announcement. None will come from me. I had nothing but fun at AMP for these 2 seasons. We were all family and for me, the best part was I was able to have Diane and Aidan there with me. The biggest thing I will miss is having my son Aidan standing by my side taking pictures. That is a father’s dream. I work out of town so I don’t get much chance to spend time with him. I will miss that terribly but will cherish those times for the rest of my life. Hopefully somehow the place can continue on. Racing is what I love. It’s my only hobby and that will never change. It’s part of me and I can’t live without it. I will still be found at a track on a Saturday night. This week I think I’ll head to Marion Center and catch up with a lot of old friends.
