My mother, Elsie Mae Asher, lives a life that is sad beyond sad. It is a horrible way to end a long life... Alzheimers disease. She is a most sweet spirited lady. I miss my old mom but love and adore this mom too. Today was not a good day for her. But somehow she seemed to have sensed I was sad about everything. We didnt really talk, but she just reached over and gathered me up and hugged me harder and longer than she ever has in my whole life. I just cried. When I see and hear of people that are estranged from their mother and they wont even talk to them, it breaks my heart. And mothers that wont speak to their own daughters are just as bad. How dare they! What I wouldnt give to have what these people are just throwing away! I trust tomorrow will be better than today. I sure thank everyone who has supported me on this difficult pity party day.
