My motion yesterday to COMPEL isaac kiprono ruto to forward list of CHIEF OFFICERS to county assembly for vetting and approval was OVERWHELMINGLY passed by the assembly. County public service board advertised, shortlisted and interviewed for the positions last year may 24th, the law says according to Sect 45(1) of the county government act(a) governor shall nominate qualified and experienced chief officers with the recommendations from county public service board (b) list of recommended persons shall be forwarded to the assembly for vetting and approval. Chief officers are equivalent to principal secretaries in the national government. They are Authorised officers, technical advicers to the CEC members in brief they are administrative officers. .
