My name is Chretien Le Keur and I currently live and work in Thailand. I started building Bass guitars on the side in May this year.... I will never be the peforming bassist I want to be since I only picked up a bass 2years ago... so decided to invest my engineering background and carpentry skill into creating original custom bass guitars made predominantly from locally found wood unless customer specifies specific wood type. Anyone want a one.. just PM me.... ..busy with these four at the moment.... from top to bottom. 1. Local Thai Mango Tree wood body and (hollow) headstock veneer with mahogany neck and Indian rosewood fretboard. Will be a 34 scale 24 fret fretted Jazz bass. 2. Padouk Top, fretboard and (hollow) headstock veneer and local Thai Mango Tree wood back. Quarter sawn local thai SaaiYa Daeng tree wood and mahogany 3 piece neck. To be a 34 scale 24 fret fretted 4 string Precision bass. 3. Bookmatched Flame maple top and mahogany back body. 5 piece rock maple and mahogany neck. Flame Maple ( hollow or solid still deciding ) headstock veneer. To be a 34 scale 24 fret fretted Jazz Bass. 5. Local Thai Jack Fruit tree wood top and back and core split by two strips of maple to make 5piece body. neck is a 5piece local Thai SaaiYa Deang and mahogany laminate. Headstock veneer of Local Thai Jackfruit tree wood. To be a 34 24 scale fretless Jaz bass... Send a PM if you are interested or would like custom bass made... Keeping rocking the low end my ass familia! And awesome work keeping the planets bass community together BMM.
