My name is Jasper and I’m 25 years old and living with autism. At age 3, I was diagnosed with mental retardation and considered a slow severe learner with other disabilities. My mother was determined to fight for my rights. My mother sensed when I was younger that I was autistic. They kept fighting her tooth to nail which is the reason behind the camp idea. I want families to get out with their children at this camp and have fun while learning. Our desire is to show the real world about special needs children and how gifted they are. We want to instill in the children that nothing can hold them back if they’re determined to succeed. I am a programmer, film editor , and part time producer in animation. We want children with autism to exhibit their gifts just like I have demonstrated in my life. I hope this little bit of information will encourage you and businesses alike to donate to my camp.
