My name is anita jones .I had a one year old yorkie named Rose that was brutally beaten to death while in the care of a friend. The friends boyfriend name Trevor Turner beat my miniature Yorkie to death with his fist .my miniature Yorkie had a leash around her collar which was on rose neck. Trevor Turner started swinging rose around in the air in a helicopter style . Then he took rose and started throwing rose up in the air and slamming her on the cement highway. After doing this he took his fist and started beating rose in her head until he killed her .so he wouldnt get in trouble he took rose opened his trunk and slammed rose in the back of his car trunk drove to the hospital when inside and told the people at the hospital he had killed rose. I am Not sure what the hospital did with our dog. But he should have had the decency to take her to a Animal hospital but he did not .We go to court on February next month and this is a small town so I know he is going to get away with this but my dog did not deserve to die this way .Rose mom delivered 5 puppies her mother died doing childbirth so we had to feed the new born babies with bottles only two of them made it Rose and her brother. we gave the brother of rose to a family friend of ours.. I know this is very short notice but I was wondering how to go about getting the petition signed to take to the DA in Roanoke Rapids North Carolina 27870 and see if my family can get some justice for what he did to rose. I think he should go to jail for brutally beating rose to death with his fist and by slamming her down on the cement high way. killing rose was just like killing a child to us . we loved rose like she was our own child .
