My notes from watching Joyce Meyer .........To be serious with God means you take time to spend in His Word . If you do not take this time to be with God nothing else is going to work out in your life . ..........A THANKFUL ATTITUDE ...........I wonder which bad attitude that we have bugs God the most . I think an ungrateful attitude , saddens God and grieves Him probably more than anything . Being thankful is actually spiritual warfare , it is one of the most powerful things that you can do to close the door of the enemy . There is a place that you can live in Victory !!! You can be sitting there and think everything else is your problem , when in truth is your attitude . A person with a good attitude will look at a bad situation and say you cannot defeat me cause God is on my side , I dont care what you look like , I dont care how scary you are , God has promised to take care of me . rom 8 :28 All things work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purposes . This is a 100% guarantee . No matter how messy your mess is . God took that vile , ugly thing in my life and worked it out to the good not only for my life but in the lives of others and He will do the same thing for you .Num 1 :11 And the people grumbled .they hated their hardships . We need to appreciate our hardships more for they are what causes us to grow up and mature . Someday you will realize what you thought was your greatest enemy was really your greatest friend . I am going to ask you today to do yourself a favor and be a thankful person . Do not be average , be a powerful person who keeps their commitments , and keeps the Word . It is not always easy to be a grateful person , but The bible does say to us in everything give thanks , for this is the will of God for you . I do believe that that low level grumpy attitude can keep a person from moving on to the best that God has for them . Keep an attitude of gratitude in all things .
