My older son Charlie Bethel (aka Charlie B Wilder, aka DJ Captain Planet, and lead singer of the legendary --in our family at least--band, new defunct, The Beatards, has just released a new single and its pretty hard NOT dancing to this one. Great exercise music too, I will add. I have never known a person who loved beats and rhythm the way Charlie does. This began in utero. (A month before he was born, his father and I attended a concert in Boston. Partway through the evening I suddenly realized he was kicking to the beat. Two and a half years later, he fell in love with the Michael Jackson Thriller video , that he watched at his babysitters house, and memorized the dance. At age 7 he annoucned he needed to take tap dancing lessons. The only boy at the dance school, he was the star of every show for all the years of his tapping career. And he has not stopped dancing since. THis morning i though Id share his latest song. And if you like this one, there are plenty more where this comes from.
