My one a day Bible lesson to myself: Day 156 Psalms Chapter 31 Verse 19 Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men. (20) Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man; thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues. (21) Blessed be the Lord; for he hath shewed me his marvelous kindness in a strong city. Why oh why are there so many Christians down and out today why so many desperate post on face book, so many ups and downs, so much strife and discontentment. Have we forgotten that God is in control ? God has not changed. What makes us trust Him one Day and doubt Him the next ? Did He do something to lose our trust ? I THINK NOT. We lack FAITH. WHY ?? Because we let Satan get between us and God. We fail to Pray, we fail to study, we fail to assemble with Gods people, we want to dabble in sin, we want to run with the wrong crowd , we so much want to be with the worldly and not Godly because thats what everyone else does. Its time we started acting like we believe in God. It;s time we put our faith in action, its time we started to live by Gods Word. The verses above describe how God has prepared things for those who love and trust Him, how He will protect us from the sons of men and their wagging tongues. Exercise your faith Christian, put trust in what you have learned from His word, Trust His Spirit, and dont let the Devil control you or defeat you in your daily living. If you are Saved By Gods Amazing Grace the devil cant take your soul but he can steal your joy if you let him. Dont give in to him. Jesus said in John Chapter 16 Verse 33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace, In the world ye shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world Many trials may come our way but Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. Look up Christian , dont give in, God is able. Amen ! Pray for each other,our country and those who serve to keep it free. ee.
