My parent’s 1936 wedding in Nairobi at the All Saints Cathedral which was sometimes called the Highlands Cathedral? My mother had just turned twenty. Joan Howard was married to Cecil Howard and was the mother of Peter and Anthony Howard who were both boarders at St Mary’s School in Nairobi in the mid fifties. Eileen Lloyd was the mother of twins Bridget and Robin Lloyd and also of a second son Paddy Lloyd? Robin went to the Duke of York School in the early 50s and nearly wrote himself off when he collided with one of the Jacaranda trees beside the road riding back to Speke House from the main hall at night. I’ve no idea what the lovely Audrys maiden name was, except in the family photo album she appeared to be dating a good looking fellow called Maud! The cars in the background date the photo a bit.
