My pet peeve with ipods, droids, and other similar devices. Call me a luddite if you want for so disliking some of this technology, but the fact is that its not really the technology itself that bothers me, its just that many people are so attached to it that they become detached from reality and the real people around them. It is the phenomenon that gets under my grill. The obsession with this tiny self absorbed world that is so consuming and people are so transfixed by, that they become divorced and disconnected from the physical world and the real people that are sharing the space around them.
