My philosophy is that I identified more with Malcom X and fighting - TopicsExpress

My philosophy is that I identified more with Malcom X and fighting back (considering the horrible crimes committed against the black man in the South), but I always realized Dr. King did more, much more with non-violence. I cant imagine being beaten with billy-clubs, having the dogs sicked on me and still being able to turn the other cheek for the sake of justice. I cant imagine having the fog of death hanging over me, the domestic terrorism against American citizens that just happened to have a different skin pigment, knowing some dumb southern cunt of a white man is waiting with a rifle to kill the most righteous man of the 20th century. I also cant believe that 4 beautiful little girls were bombed in Birmingham, and an American terrorist organization that still exists supported it. The fact that Dr. King was non-violent, that he stood while all of his congregation was being beaten for simply standing for their rights while not lifting a hand, proves that humankind is capable of being wonderful. This day is more important than most American holidays, and, in my opinion, is the most important American holiday.
