My plans for tonight? Marc Cassalina and I are attending: The 1st Annual New Year’s Eve Family Road House Crawl with possible Polar Bear Pool Plunge; Redneck Edition…with off-key drunken singing included. I live on a 1-mile long road that consists of approximately 35+ family members. At some point over Christmas someone came up with this ‘unique’ New Year’s Eve plan and somehow after a few group texts this events name and the participation was complete. And for some reason...I said, Im in! Our plan: Everyone starts at one relative’s house and we slowly walk (18 degrees of Brrrr) from house to house sampling the specialty cocktail and appetizer prepared by each house. We stay at each house until the cow bell rings…and once again the festivities continue at another relative’s house. By the time the 2015 ball drops we will be fat, frozen, and drunk. Why am I telling you this? I have a feeling there will be updates, pictures, and I may override my rule of no posting after 2 drinks. And no safety worries, we have already arranged to have Designated Walkers (DW) on hand. …yeah, this should be interesting…
