My question for today do negative words or comments hurt the individual emotionally ? Yes and words have the power to wound spirits in men ,women, and yes children. The b word to a woman he n word to some of us hurts our spirits . To make the comment that you are just like your Daddy and you will never be nothing hurts for a life time. Yes negative comments or words have more power that a fist or a loaded gun because it leaves emotional scars and guilt for years. Yes words have caused men and women to react violently and take lives or inflict violence.Lift a brother or sister up with a kind word an then I forgive you and let the Lord heal your emotions . Please be careful in what you may say a person may be at their limits when you torment them with hateful comments. Remember that kind words turn away wrath and it promotes compassion to the soul. So the next time you become angry and you need to vent, fill your mouth with some water ,wait and if you are still angry repeat step one again be blessed
