My request to Mr. Shehryar Afridi and the KPK Government, particularly, its Investment Approval Board, to conduct a thorough due diligence (DD) exercise on the Companies and the people behind these companies, so as to ascertain if these people have sufficient experience, know-how in this particular field and track record of handling projects of this magnitude. This is the first thing that other Investment Boards do around the world. Galaxy Technologies (galaxytech/) (https://facebook/Galaxytech) is a large global corporation with offices in Hong Kong and around the world but it is a dedicated Computer components manufacturer and I do not quite understand how it is being linked to a US$2 Billion investment in a hydro power generation enterprise. I have pointed this out earlier. Mr. Afridi has mentioned in the clip below that the MOU is signed with a Consortium representing companies from China, Canada and the US. For purposes of Transparency the names of these companies should be disclosed as should be the entire MOU which should be posted on the KPK Government website. We are all supporters of PTI and wish it well but at the same time we do not want the KPK Government to make any mistake which could be a cause for embarrassment to PTI and the KPK Government.
