My review of Fractal Despondency: This dark novella captivated me! I am a slow reader in general, but I read this fast. I was so drawn into the characters of Blake & Denise that I needed to know what dark road they would travel. I was not disappointed! Trent Zelazny has a gift: showing his readers the honest, and sometimes brutal truths in life. There is no sugarcoating, no happily-ever-after; however the characters are real and raw. I would be surprised if readers of this story could not relate to the characters on a personal level, or knew someone like Blake or Denise at some point. I think this is my favorite book by Trent so far!
