My road towards Kitutu Chache North poverty alleviation strategy through this leadership call has been a delicate painful decision to reach. This endorsement comes at a time when socio-politic and ecominic crisis is looming high. A study survey to be commissioned soon to determine; 1. Levels of unemployment compared to other constituencies 2. Levels of poverty index compared to other constituncies 3. Economic activities initiated by Kisii County leaders also comparable 4. Compare Resource use and distribution both from Central and County governments 5. Compare Citizen participation index in leadership and governance 6. Compare level of deteriorating education with other constituencies 7. Determine and compare number of fundraiser activities planned by key leaders in both governments 8. Determine and compare whether there has been KITUTU CHACHE LEADERS CONGRESS to chat a way forward on poverty reduction strategies 9. Establish, compare and rate KITUTU NORTHs state,energy and resources required for its recovery 10. Establish and compare if there is adopted strategy/concept/policy paper geared towards a future prosperous Constituency In respect to this my sample survey indicates a stagnant state. Tattered by poverty with a desperate people who have lost hope. The immense resources is a misplaced priority with a people living for today and forgetting a future. Leaders have kept themselves at bay. Many are amassing wealth to lure the electorate 2017, the nature and syndrome in KITUTU NORTH year in year out. Murraming roads, building bridges, Funeral fundraisers, purchase of school water tanks, construction of water springs etc is a tale of everyday life in KITUTU NORTH. This is the leadership Im against. As I pick this wreck of a constituency much awaits me to transmogrify it. I have started to engage investors in diverse sectors especially in service and production, talent, export processing industries. Im having talks with other organizations and envoys from other countries to enhance support and exchange programs. Hoping for your inmost support.
