My son Roger was out with his friends celebrating a birthday last night. We received notice at 4:30AM that he was taken to the hospital in St. Paul, MN. We discovered per RF Police that our son stepped in attempting to break up a fight between one of his friends and an unidentified person. In the attempt Roger received a deep stab wound to his right lower bicep. They were concerned it cut his main artery and was transferred to Regions from RF hospital. Thank God that is was only a branch artery cut not the main artery. He under went surgery this morning and is now resting. They are keeping him overnight but please do not call nor visit as he is sedated heavily and will be sleeping all day today. Looks like we can get him home tomorrow. If anyone knows who the person that cut Roger is please notify the River Falls Police Department as this incident is under active investigation. Will keep you all posted on any new updates.
