My soon to be 4 year old is very active and keeps on running around the house. The lady who lives beneath our apartment often bang the roof to indicate that he is very noisy. Whenever she does this, we make him sit on couch and tell him not to walk/run. But I feel this is not fair to a small child to tell him to limit his movement in his own house. What can I do to avoid this? She has come to our house once saying that we are making too much noise and she will complaint to authorities. Can she do go and complaint against us? Folks staying above our apartment also make a lot of noise but we have always understood the fact that and have never ever said anything. Is her behavior justified ? Are we wrong, what can we do to avoid any unpleasant situation. Can’t afford to break the lease and move to a ground floor right now.
