My surprise trip was to Tupelo Mississippi and Gulf Shores! :) We got back home last night and I must say it was a wonderful 7 day trip!! It was cool to see the birthplace of Elvis and we really enjoyed seeing the Elvis park and the little house he was raised in and the Ace Hardware store which is still there down town and still open where he got his very first guitar! They had a Elvis festival that night and downtown was a happening place to say the least! And Gulf Shores .........was awesome!! The weather could not have been better! Sunny and in the mid 80s. PERFECT !!!! We were indeed beach bums pretty much the whole time ! We just relaxed and I finally got my John Grisham Sycamore Row book read ! ( been trying to get that book read for a couple of months) ! One of favorites of his to date! :) We so needed this vacation ! :) Would go back again for sure! :) Pictures to be posted soon! :) Going to enjoy the weekend in Illinois,Home Sweet Home with friends and family! :) have a great one my friends!
