My thoughts for the day..... I see this every single day in my newsfeed. And its really pissing me off. Parents - YOUR CHILDREN ARE NOT GAME PIECES!!! STOP USING THEM TO GET AT EACH OTHER!!! If an absent parent calls to check on the child, LET THEM! If the child doesnt want to talk, put the damn phone up to their ear so they can at least hear the other parent say I love you. Its important for them to hear it. They should know that just because the other parent isnt where they are, the parent still thinks about them and misses them. Even if they call everyday and call twice. The parent that has the child has the luxury of seeing smiles and having hugs. And to tell you the truth, secretly taking the child and leaving was wrong! It was unfair to the child. The child didnt get a choice. Their voices go unheard and ignored by spiteful parents who only want to get back at each other. Put the child first! Just because the parents didnt work out doesnt mean the child(ren) should have to pay for it. And I dont give two shits about the he said she said. Thats the problem. You want to put the blame on each other instead of looking in the mirror at your own reflection. Grow the hell up! Its the childs right to decide what they want. Its one thing to keep a child away from an abusive parent, its another to just keep them away because youre pissed at each other. Again, grow the hell up and think about whos really getting hurt! And if you think its none of my business, then stop posting the shit making it the worlds business!
