My trip to Manchester Crown Court for tomorrow is cancelled. This is actually good news as the two Staffie that I assessed will be returned to their owner with a conditional discharge only. Both dogs saved from destruction. An unusual case, as it was alleged that the dogs attacked two police officers that entered the owners home when the owner whistled acting as a command to attack. I tried to recreate the behaviour with various whistles, but they just kept wagging their tails, rolling on the back for belly rubs. I can only report as I find!
