My washer was on its last leg...I was nursing it by washing only small loads, but it was using so much electricity. So, I asked God for the opportunity to replace it. A few months later, a friend called to say they were giving away their old washer/dryer, because they were remodeling and were going to get a new set. They said the old ones worked perfectly. I prayed about it and the Lord told me to give away my dryer to the Lions Club, and to take BOTH the washer and the dryer. I was stunned, because my dryer was a $1200 large capacity dryer, which came with our trailer; and I did not want to part with it. In addition, it played classical music when it was done drying. How can a woman part with that???? Well, I obeyed and it went off to the Lions Club. Then, when my husband brought home the new-old set from our friends, it was the EXACT dryer I had just donated to the Lions Club to sell in their thrift store to make money to pay for sight for the blind in our area!!!! Classical music and all :) . And its a matching washer too! God is so funny! He tries our obedience and then blesses our socks off when we obey! He is so good to those who seek Him (Psalm 34:19; Hebrews 11:6). He spoils me rotten....kat
