My wife beat me up this morning. It was pretty painful because I’m an early riser and my male ego felt bruised. But as I came down the stairs there was Sue, sitting with Sam our dog, drinking a cup of tea and watching our birds. I said an enthusiastic “Good morning precious!” and then greeted Sue. I love Sam, and each time we’ve had a hug lately I’ve been thinking about the new book I have dedicated to him, 101 Things that Dogs do to Annoy Their Owners (its due for release at the beginning of May--I will keep you informed).
