My wish at the Make a Wish castle was to swim with the dolphins. They are working on a trip to send my family to Disney and to possibly swim with dolphins. The plan is to travel by train since I am refusing to fly. I havent taken my trip yet because Ive spent so much time in the hospital and currently its difficult to walk long distances with the walker. My leg is still healing nicely, just taking a long time due to the surgeon having to clip off many vessels to the area where the main part of the tumor was. I recently started physical therapy and day 1 was fun but I was having a bad day on day 2. I had my PET scan done on Wednesday and hope that CHOP will have sent the info to RWJ in time for my clinic visit this coming week. If things are good on the scan, I get to continue on the planned protocol and chemo will occur every third week. Im hoping that with less hospital time we could squeeze in the Make a Wish trip. My family is trying to have make a wish plan the return tickets a few days after the Disney trip is over so that we can see family in FL. There is a whole bunch of family there that I have never met and mom and dad have not seen in about 18 years. Right now the trip is being planned but I have no idea when I will be able to travel away from close proximity to RWJ. Thank you for all the love and support !
