My work as an actor is as hard as fighting in Afghanistan - Tom Cruise....here is just another celebrity saying/doing something outrageous to try to get attention, and yes I know that Im adding onto the attention. But heres why, 1. Hes never fought in a war/been in the military unless it was a scripted Hollywood movie, so he literally has no idea what war is like, so he needs to stop throwing similes such as that around. 2. The media is just the same at fault for releasing this information on of all weekends, Veterans Day Weekend. I can guarantee you there has been a celebrity within the past couple of days praising the men and women in uniform and for the work they do. So why wont the media post that? Because its not controversial. 3. If you are American, and you live in the country fought by these men and women, respect them. You may not respect war, but respect the men and women who fight for you to stay safe in this country. That is all.
