My work explores the relationship between multiculturalism and skateboard ethics. With influences as diverse as Kierkegaard and L Ron Hubbard, new synergies are created from both simple and complex narratives. Ever since I was a pre-adolescent I have been fascinated by the ephemeral nature of the human condition. What starts out as contemplation soon becomes corrupted into a tragedy of distress, leaving only a sense of decadence and the unlikelihood of a new beginning. As shimmering replicas become transformed through frantic and critical practice, the viewer is left with a testament to the darkness of our culture.
