Myth – You have to eat Paleo. Reality - Ummm, no. I’m going to guess that about 80% of CrossFitters DO NOT eat Paleo. We do, however, have a high percentage of people who are concerned with eating healthy and for some that means they eat a lot of vegetables, lean meat and little processed food. But anyone can do CrossFit and make a lot of improvements while eating whatever they want — but they will probably end up eating a lot healthier because they are involved in a group that does, but it’s their choice. That being said; you should eat more vegetables and lean meat, just don’t make it a requisite to doing exercise.
