NAS calls it Illmatic, but I call it Illdramatic of worldly surroundings that aint, and cant be you, or me.... Ive had enough of being told about the streets, and struggles of Black life. Just when, and I mean just when shall I start seeing, and hearing about Black people serving in combat of death on these streets to acquire land, contain land, and evolve such land into a meaningful wealth of independence? Weve known for far too long where our people were intended to be socially placed, yet weve accepted it with cowardous ways of fearing to make responsible progress. Whether it be words of gospel, words of music, words of an eloquent speaker, or words of a politician, it will not serve at taking us where we must go until YOU accept dying at fighting to get there.
