NC youth leader Najeeb Khan joins PDP Srinagar, Dec 07: Prominent social worker and youth activist, Mr Najeeb Khan has joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in presence of the party president, Ms Mehbooba Mufti here. Mr Khan was the National Conference’s state youth vice president. The entry of Mr Najeeb Khan, who hails from Amirakadal constituency in Srinagar, has been also welcomed by the senior party leader and candidate, Syed Altaf Bukhari. Mr Bukhari said Najeeb’s entry into the party would strengthen the pro-PDP wave further and it would enable harnessing the energies and creative potential of the youth in his constituency. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Khan said he was impressed and influenced by the PDP leadership which is working selflessly in order to bring about a complete change in the exploitative system created by the National Conference in Jammu and Kashmir that has impacted adversely several generations of the people particularly youth.
