NDIGBO AND THE POLITICS OF SELF DELUSIONS!!!!! Ojukwu was a staunch member of NPN, a party mostly controlled by the Gambaris. At the sometime Ekwueme was Gambaris Vice President. Why didnt these duo support Nnamdi Azikwe who was the founder of GNPP and also a Presidential Candidate? These duo worked for the success of Shagari at the peril of their brother Nnamdi Azikwe. Hmmmmm. All these happened after the civil war. In 1993, MKO Abiola defeated Bashir Tofa in his home state in Kano. This was the handiwork of Abubakar Rimi who supported Abiola at the expense of his brother, Tofa. All these happened after the much talked about Gambaris dont like Awolowo....... .. Sam Nbakwe worked tirelessly for a muslim muslim ticket of Abiola/Kingibe at the expense of his Vice presidential candidate brother Sylvester Ugor... Ojukwu formed a political party called APGA, a party that used Igbo as its official language, he contested for Presidency. Ekwueme, Nzeribe didnt vote for him, rather they worked for OBJ and Yardua. Ojukwu won in just one out five Eastern states... Why the sentiments now? We Nigerians must not fall for the opportunistic deceits of these lazy and clueless politicians again.... Our votes must bring about the triumph of the truth plus merit and not the triumph of falsehood which will eventually increase the volume of poverty and hopelessness. Yet, the 2nd Niger bridge promise is going down like the Green revolution, Electricity for all in 2014, Rehabilitation of our Land by our son the Ebele....Si don and look na poor man slogan. Attched, our APGA governor wadding through Onitsha streets after 8 years of doing nothing and yet....
