NELLYS HAPPY ENDING RESCUE STORY A Prince George BC colleague, just one of several AAS colleagues watching out for feral cats and abused dogs in Northern BC, happened to see an ad on Craigslist for a used Rottweiler. The Rottie was being sold because she wasnt a good guard dog... Our colleague, worried about whose hands this Rottie would end up in next, drove 60 miles to where the dog was. What greeted her eyes were two big Rotties, heavily chained in a muddy farmyard. One Rottie was very aggressive, and one was sad and depressed-looking. That was Nelly. She was so thin that her ribs and backbone popped out. The farmer explained that Nelly was so depressed that she often wouldnt eat. Our colleague grabbed Nelly as fast as the owner would let her have her, and drove Nelly to freedom. Keep reading and see many more photos at: animaladvocates/dog-rescue-stories/happy-endings/nelly/
