NEVILLE KERRY The US secretary of state Neville Kerry invited himself to the Middle East and there met up with the equally feckless Ban Ki-moon, who heads up the discredited United Nations. Together, they have cobbled together some sort of 7 day ceasefire which the Israeli cabinet rejected out of hand. Israel did agree to an 8 hour ceasefire Saturday while it continues to root out and destroy more Hamas tunnels. In other words, there will be no ceasefire of any kind. Look at these quotes by Kerry-of-the-long-face today, July 25th: “Both the Israelis and the Palestinians deserve and need to lead normal lives. We believe that seven days will give all the parties the ability to take a step back from violence.” At this moment, we are working towards a brief seven days peace. Seven days of a humanitarian ceasefire in honour of Eid. (Referring to the Muslim holiday observed at the end of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan). Notice the moral equivalence that Kerry expels rapidly and forcibly in large quantities. He should be backing the only democracy in the Middle East instead of holding up terrorists to be the equal of Israel. For a moment there, I thought that Israel must have started this fight. They should not let up until Hamas has been destroyed.
