NEW - Evening Presentation with Visiting Artist Horacio Cadzco In a review of his artwork, Horacio Cadzco (1979) will show his drawings, sculptures and the documentation of his transcendental experience: The Destruction of a Suit (2005-2006, Mexico City). For this one year-long action, Horacio wore a white, tailored suit every single day, without cleaning it, and without taking a shower, cutting his nails, hair or beard. His commitment to this project was so he could explore notions of art and life or art and reality, fused into a continuous journey that concluded with the symbolic death of the artist. The nature of Horacios other art includes human scraps, such as hair, teeth, snot, scabs, and saliva. Horacio Cadzco earned a BFA from Mexico City. He has presented his work in the way of conferences, lectures and workshops in Mexico, Argentina, Los Angeles, Germany, Poland, and many interviews have being translated and published in other countries.
