NEW EUROPEANS CORRESPONDENT, JON DANZIG, INVITED AS A DELEGATE TO ‘PAN EUROPEAN CITIZENS DIALOGUE’ IN BRUSSELS Jon Danzig, New Europeans volunteer correspondent, has been chosen as one of three delegates from the UK to participate in a ‘pan European’ citizens’ debate about the future of Europe. Taking place at the European Commission in Brussels on 27 March, the full-day of discussions brings together 180 citizens from all 28 member states of the European Parliament. The event’s purpose will be to enable them, ‘to talk about their real experiences as Europeans, share their concerns and aspirations for the future of Europe and their future as European citizens.’ Said Jon, ‘I’m delighted and honoured to be chosen as a delegate to this important debate about the future of the European Union. It’s an opportunity to engage with fellow European citizens from all other EU countries and to make our voices heard.’ All delegates to the dialogue are asked to, ‘bring an object that symbolises your identity, your country or a theme dear to your heart. It can be a physical object, a picture, an article.’ Any suggestions for Jon?
