NEWS ALERT: At about 2 a.m Saturday., Yuma police officers responded to El Encanto Apartments for a report of a shooting. Police found a 30-year-old man shot in the south parking lot of the apartment complex. He was taken to Yuma Regional Medical Center in critical condition. Investigators say a verbal argument between two groups of people started at the Mine Shaft. The suspects followed the other people involved in the argument to the apartment complex where the argument continued, and one of the suspects fired multiple rounds. The suspects left in a dark colored Chevy Malibu in an unknown direction. If you have any information, call Sgt. Ron Rodriguez at (928) 373-4678 or 78-CRIME to remain anonymous.
