NEWS: The Archie Foundations to be the official charity of this years Scottish Open golf, which is being held at Royal Aberdeen. North-East golfers Paul Lawrie and Richie Ramsay were on hand at the Royal Aberdeen Childrens Hospital at Foresterhill earlier as the announcement was made. The foundation helps sick children and their families across the city and shire. Every time a birdie, eagle or albatross is made at the event in July, the charity will receive a donation. Phil Mickelson and Rory McIlroy are among some of the other famous golf names lining up alongside Lawrie and Ramsay in the summer.
