NEWS UPDATE AT 2PM WITH ORANGE Students have been warned against taking course that are not developmental. Speaking at the graduation ceremony of Uganda Christian University Mukono, the Prime Minister John Patrick Mbabazi said government cannot create all the jobs to cater for thousands of graduates and hence called upon students to take only those courses that will help them become job creators instead of seekers. The directorate of traffic is to train all bodaboda riders in order to avoid road accidents. The directorate has also revealed plans of training all primary going kids on road safety as these are the target of road accidents. Pro-Russian separatists in Ukraine have fled their eastern stronghold of Sloviansk amid an offensive by the military. President Petro Poroshenko has ordered the military to hoist the Ukrainian flag over the city council building. Three women have been arrested in Nigeria for recruiting female members for the Islamist militant group, Boko Haram.The women are said to have targeted widows and young girls, promising them marriage to Boko Haram members.
