NEWS UPDATE AT 3PM WITH ORANGE Police spokesman Fred Enaga has said that the 113 people arrested in connection with Rwenzori Attacks that left over 90 people dead face treason charges. Police has also arrested Rwenzururu kingdoms Information minister for alleged involvement in purchasing spears &machetes used 2 hack people. Cabinet has approved the ratification of the mutual defence pact, 2014 .Information Minister Rosemary Namayanja says the pact is in compliance with the provisions of the memorandum of understanding on the fast-tracking East African Integration which was agreed by the Tripartite States on 28th October 2013. The pact will encounter threats against regional security with immediate collective action by all partner States. Police Elite Flying Squad has arrested a suspected serial armed robber said to be terrorizing Kampala residents. Swaibu Kirabira commonly known as Fox heads a notorious gang of six hardcore criminals and has over eight files of various cases at different police stations in the city.
