NHRC has been regularly monitoring the health condition of Ganga Maya Adhikari, who had been staging fast onto death for more than one year demanding the legal action against the murderer of her son Krishna Prasad Adhikari of Gorkha. She had been demanding for justice along with her husband Nanda Prasad Adhikari, who passed away a couple of months ago while fasting onto death in pursuit of justice delivery. On 18th January 2015, NHRC Hon.
