NIGERIA AT 54, OUR GOOD HALF CENTURY. THE CHALLENGES AHEAD : We can have a more better Nigeria at 54 years. Looking back over half the century that has passed, Nigeria has changed remarkably, we have progressed politically but economically we are still behind despite our abundant resources all over the country. In many ways, one could say that the challenges facing our great country today is how to avoid having leaders with no vision, no love for the country and putting themselves first. At 54 years old, let us have new challenges, particularly the challenge of bringing in more set of leaders with vision into the political system. The enormous advance of freedom in the last 54 years has been good for our great country Nigeria. The key to fixing our problems as a country is to make the right changes. At 54 today, Nigeria should be more better, more secure, more prosperous and more free. May God bless us all.
