NIGERIAN DIPLOMATS -- Today I spent the greater part of the day training 15 Nigerian Senators, Members of Congress, High Commissioners and other diplomats. I was honored that they traveled over 6,000 miles to participate in a leadership training seminar on The Pursuit of Excellence. All of the participants are here for the week visiting the White House, the Capitol, and other sites. The training I facilitated was designed to launch their entire experience here in America for the next 6-7 days. Some politicians attended, but most of these participants manage all staff appointments, promotions, salary payments, transfers, disciplinary action, etc. for the people who administer government affairs around Nigeria. Another larger group from the Nigerian National Assembly Service Commission will arrive next week for a similar training experience.
