This past year NJSPCA handled in excess of over 5500 cases involving animal cruelty, neglect and abuse here in New Jersey. NJSPCA is a self funded Humane Law Enforcement Agency (We receive NO Funding from any state, county or municipal taxes) we are funded by the fines and Restitution we receive through the courts from those defendants found guilty and by donations from the public. Many of our Officers volunteer a great deal of their time and our Officers also pay their own way through the training as well as ongoing training.
