NO LIMITS, by Tekena Ikoko It sprang from nowhere And made a dash towards my right I saw the swift movement And I took a pause It came to an abrupt halt, as though sensing my presence I didn’t know what to do It seem to look squarely at me And moved away from me In few seconds it was gone Wrapped up in some things that blocked my sight I tried to concentrate But i knew it was not over Suddenly it appeared again This time, facing me, daring me, wanting me We face each other, but it made the first move I didn’t know what to expect I dashed towards me Fast enough to clearly see that it was coming It was coming for my leg I had only a moment’s notice I reacted...fast In a second it was all over When I lifted my leg, it was there It was dead I had crushed it It was a cockroach And the God of peace shall bruise the devil under your feet In 2015 Amen. With your eyes, you may see them come, But with might, wisdom and grace, You will overcome. In 2015, the word for SBNS is , NO LIMITS....!!! Be thankful again and say, Amen.
