NO driving in the bicycle lane! Stay out of our bicycle lanes! This was the “#protest” from a foreign fellow in #China who had enough of car owners not following the traffic rules. A set of pictures went viral on Chinese social media on Sunday, featuring an expat stopping a car that was using the specified #bicycle lane. The photos were taken on a street in Beijing as a bicyclist and a driver stood at a standstill in the bike lane, staring each other down. The un-named foreigner, stopped his bike directly in front of the car, showing that he would not move until the car reversed out of the lane. The “protest” has won thousands’ hearts online with many hailing his resolute attitude and determination to teach cheating car owners a lesson.
